"Recognising Lean Transformation in the Public Sector"- LIPS Doha, Qatar 23rd/24th October 2019 -

Doha, Qatar

23/24 October 2019

Doha is the capital and most populous city of the State of Qatar. The city is located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf in the east of the country. It is Qatar's fastest growing city, with over 80% of the nation's population living in Doha or its surrounding suburbs, and it is also the economic centre of the country.

Wander the fabulously atmospheric Souq Waqif, wonder at the sheer beauty of the world-class Museum of Islamic Art and its exhibits or head out to Katara to explore Doha's art culture or explore the Qatar National Museum. Wherever you look, Doha is threatening to eclipse Dubai as the Gulf's most dynamic city.

Lean in public sector - LIPS QATAR

The 2-day event includes a combination of hands-on training in Lean Fundamentals and Lean Government Framework, presentations, case studies, experiential learning simulations, and discussions.

LIPS workshop will provide an international venue for key stakeholders in Qatar to share their stories along with colleagues from around the world. In addition, the workshop is designed to transfer Lean Thinking over to various areas in public governance and public systems to enhance the quality, efficiency, productivity, and reliability of public services. Lean, with its multitude of benefits and coverage, is the need of the hour and a promising investment towards realizing Qatar Vision 2030.
